Yotsu, Rie

Rie Yotsu is a dermatologist, and with her interest in global health, has cultivated her expertise in skin infections. She especially has longstanding track record of her contributions to the field of skin-related neglected tropical diseases, or the ‘skin NTDs’. Skin NTDs is a set of NTDs which manifest with skin symptoms, such as leprosy, Buruli ulcer, yaws, lymphatic filariasis, mycetoma, and scabies.

Yilu Lin, Yilu

PhD in Health Policy and Management. HEOR and RWE studies. Experienced in clinical trials, observational studies, claims data and VA EHR data. Research interest in diabetes complications modeling, chronic disease management, and treatment pattern explorations.

Stolow, Jeni

Dr. Jeni Stolow is a social and behavioral scientist who works at the intersection of medical anthropology, public health, and infectious disease outbreak response. Dr. Stolow has just returned from a deployment to Central/Eastern Europe responding to the Ukraine Emergency as a World Health Organization (WHO) Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) officer. Dr. Stolow is also currently responding to the COVID-19 pandemic as the Global Outbreak Alert & Response Network (GOARN) Research Focal Point for RCCE. Dr.

Stojanovski, Kristefer

With training in epidemiology, health policy, and the social and behavioral sciences, Dr. Stojanovski leverages interdisciplinary and community-based methods to conduct global research to discern structural influences on LGBTQ+ and ethnic minority health across countries. Dr. Stojanovski's research examines how stigmatizing policies and norms negatively shape the health of LGBTQ+ persons.

Santos, Tatiane

Tatiane Santos is an assistant professor at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She also holds a senior adjunct faculty appointment at the Colorado School of Public Health, and Adjunct Senior Fellow appointment at the University of Pennsylvania Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics and Penn Center for Public Health Initiatives. She is a core member of the COVID-19 Modeling Group in CO and leads the development of the CO Population Data Dashboard.

Ramirez, Shokufeh

Shokufeh Mojgani Ramirez, PhD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the department of Social, Behavioral, and Population Sciences and is the director of the MCH academic program. She teaches SBPS 6140 Development of Leadership and Communication Skills in Public Health. She is also  is the Associate Director of the Tulane Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health (CEMCH), a training grant funded by the HRSA Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB).

Priore, Richard

Richard (Rich) Priore is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management, where he teaches healthcare financial management in the MHA and DrPH programs. His research interests include physician alignment and making a business case for improving quality. His leadership experience spans 30 years in the investor-owned, not-for-profit, and government healthcare sectors with senior executive roles in integrated and academic health systems, physician-owned specialty hospitals, complex clinical service lines, and large multispecialty group practices.

Gonzales, Melissa

Dr. Gonzales is the incoming Chair of Environmental Health Sciences at the Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.   Dr. Gonzales' community-engaged, translational research focuses on understanding the contribution of environmental exposure to health disparities and translating research for health equity and informed decision-making. She comes to Tulane from the University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine, where her research and leadership spanned funded Centers of Excellence in environmental health and health disparities research.
