WaveWorks: Important Updates on Faculty, Post Doctoral & Librarian Hiring Process
March 30, 2026
We are live with WaveWorks HCM! We appreciate everyone’s patience as we navigate this new space we are all working in. We are reaching out to provide some information and guidance to assist in the hiring, onboarding, and lifecycle management of faculty, post doctoral, and librarian hiring processes, including how we manage job positions and position requests. If you have questions about these processes or need further guidance, please contact us at aapops@tulane.edu.
Wondering how you can find position codes to create a requisition, or to find out if you have a vacant position that you can utilize to create a requisition? The HR team created a guide Accessing Position Codes (Line Managers and HR Dept Admins). We recommend following this process BEFORE requesting a new position or opening a new requisition.
If you need to create a new position after following the Accessing Position Codes (Line Managers and HR Dept Admins) guide, please email interfolio@tulane.edu, and we will facilitate the new position request.
Faculty, Pre/Post Doctoral, Librarian Hiring Process Interfolio to WaveWorks
We will be sunsetting Interfolio’s Faculty Search Module in the next couple of months. All approved NEW faculty, pre/post doctoral, and librarian requisitions should be created in WaveWorks. If you are ready to hire a candidate from an open Interfolio requisition, please reach out to us at interfolio@tulane.edu with the Interfolio position number. Business Titles for Faculty & Librarians
Faculty and librarian business titles are reviewed and approved by the Office of Academic Affairs and Provost. In general, business titles are given based on administrative appointment type for faculty and librarian business units. All business title change requests must be submitted for review and processing. Please submit these requests to our office at the provided form link below::
