Sabzehzar, Amin

Amin Sabzehzar is an Assistant Professor at the Freeman School of Business. He joins the Freeman School from Arizona State University, where he recently received his Ph.D. in Management of Information Systems. Amin teaches business analytics, and his research focuses on topics that speak to the management of social issues, take a broad developmental view of society, and have the potential to offer practical implications for online platform design and policy.

Rallabandi

I received my doctorate in Quantitative Marketing from UCLA in March 2022 and my research explores consumer behavior towards digital marketing interventions. Prior to my PhD, I have 7 years of work experience. I love travelling and playing tennis.

Lim, Chan

Chan Lim joins the Freeman School of Business from Purdue University, where he earned his doctoral degree in finance. His research focuses on behavioral finance and empirical asset pricing, with particular interest in extrapolative bias and neurofinance. Prior to the doctoral program, he completed an MS in Finance and BBA in Business Administration at Seoul National University.

Lei, Ming

I am a visiting assistant professor of marketing at Freeman School of Business. I just got my PhD degree from Purdue University. I am a quantitative marketing researcher and working on healthcare related topics now.

He, Yumei

Prior to joining the Freeman School, Yumei He worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management and the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. Her research interest lies in leveraging advanced IT artifacts to improve market efficiency of digital platforms, focusing on topics including digital interventions, human-AI collaboration and market design of platforms. Her work has been published in Information Systems Research, Journal of the Association for Information Systems.

Gray, Cathy

Cathy Gray spent the first 18 years of her career as a CPA in Nashville, where she gained experience in public accounting, insurance regulation and business management in the city’s flourishing music and entertainment industry. She comes to the Freeman School from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where she served as a lecturer of accounting and finance. Gray holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Patterson School of Accountancy at the University of Mississippi and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Analytics at the University of South Alabama.

Contractor, Sunil

Sunil H. Contractor is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Marketing at Tulane University. His research areas are Brand Strategy, Escalation of Commitment, Emotions (Regret and Disappointment) and Scale Design. He has published articles in Journal of Brand Strategy, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Cornell Hospitality Quarterly, International Journal of Innovation Management and Journal of Targeting, Measurement and Analysis for Marketing.

Carver, Marshall

I have been a full time finance professor at Tulane since January of 2022. I was an adjunct professor in 2001.

I am a CFA Charterholder. I received my MBA from Tulane in 2001.

From 2001-2021 I worked as a director of research and equity research analyst at Heikkinen Energy Advisors, Capital One Southcoast, and Tudor Pickering Holt. I focused on investment analysis of energy stocks including oil and gas from 2001-2019 and renewable energy from 2020 to 2021.
