Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act Statement

Tulane University is committed to complying with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act. The Clery Act, signed in 1990, is a federal statute that provides transparency around campus crime policy, procedure, statistics, and prompt notification of crimes and other emergencies on and around campus. The Act is a federal consumer protection law designed to promote transparency and accountability between institutions of higher education and the campus communities they serve.

The Annual Fire Safety and Security Report is distributed annually to all Tulane affiliates and available to all other interested parties. The Report is available on the TUPD website.

Tulane University Police Department works closely with many campus partners including the offices of Student Affairs, Title IX, Campus Health, and other departments to ensure compliance with the Clery Act.
