The University recognizes that employees who experience personal and workplace problems may need professional assistance, which is why the University contracts with an outside vendor to provide an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for both faculty and staff. Our EAP offers solutions for living well at home and at work. Optum counselors provide confidential support for a variety of concerns, from coping with stress to information and support on financial issues, child care, legal issues, relationships, and other life challenges. Their goal is to help you live a happier, more fulfilling life - today and every day.
Workforce Management has partnered with Gallagher Benefits Services to establish the Tulane Benefits Service Center which offers one-on-one assistance with the University’s health and welfare benefits.
Tulane makes every effort to provide you the finest health and fitness facility in the region. The Reily Center is open over 350 days a year and 118 hours a week. With 150,000 square foot of activity space, and a variety of recreational programs to challenge you, the choices are almost endless.

Objectives include the coordination and delivery of programs, services and multi-disciplinary interventions that address the diverse and ever changing health needs of the campus community.
Tulane Medical Students will be setting up in the Reily lobby to offer free health assessments to Tulane students and Reily members. You don’t need an appointment, just stop by the tables to sign up. Most of the health assessments are offered on Tuesdays, but check the Reily Calendar for exact dates. The assessments are available any time between 4:30 and 7:00 pm, but wait times will vary depending on how many people are in line.
