	Michael Bernstein Professor of History and Economics Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost mbernstein@tulane.edu, (504) 865-5261 Michael oversees all aspects of academic life at Tulane and advises University President Scott Cowen on all academic matters. He works closely with the Deans of the Schools and Directors of the Research Centers and Institutes in pursuit of the University's core missions in research, art-making, teaching, and professional and community service.
	Michael Hogg Clinical Professor of Business Administration Associate Dean of the Freeman School of Business Associate Provost for Student Affairs mhogg@tulane.edu, (504) 314-2852 Mike’s responsibilities include assisting the Provost on issues of undergraduate education, student life, and intercollegiate athletics. He serves as a liaison to Newcomb-Tulane College, the Freeman School of Business, the School of Law, the Division of Student Affairs, and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.
	M. A. "Tonette" Krousel-Wood Clinical Professor of Epidemiology Clinical Professor of Family and Community Medicine Associate Provost for the Health Sciences mawood@tulane.edu, (504) 865-5261 Tonette's responsibilities include assisting the Provost with issues as they pertain to the health sciences in general and to the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and the Tulane National Primate Research Center in particular.
	Ana López Associate Professor of Communication Associate Provost for Faculty Affairs lopez@tulane.edu, (504) 865-5261 Ana's responsibilities include assisting the Provost on all faculty issues, including promotion and tenure, hiring plans, and recruitment. She serves as a liaison to the School of Liberal Arts, the School of Architecture, the Center for Public Service, the Stone Center for Latin American Studies, and the H. Sophie Newcomb Memorial College Institute.
	Brian S. Mitchell Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Associate Provost for Graduate Studies & Research brian@tulane.edu, (504) 314-2818 Brian is responsible for oversight of all graduate and professional studies academic issues, and he assists the Provost in the formulation of University research policy. He serves as a liaison to the School of Science and Engineering, the School of Social Work, and the School of Continuing Studies, as well as the Payson Center, the Murphy Institute, and the Partnership for the Transformation of Urban Communities.
	Ann Salzer Assistant Provost asalzer@tulane.edu, (504) 314-2816 Ann oversees the administrative operations of the Provost’s Office, and is the Chief of the Provost's Staff.  She assists the Provost in planning meetings with the Deans’ Council, the Board of Administrators of Tulane University, and the general staff.  She maintains the database on all faculty, updates the Faculty Handbook, and when necessary, acts as liaison to search advisory committees for senior academic leadership positions.
	Antoinette Mills Executive Secretary and Front Desk Manager amills@tulane.edu, (504) 865-5261 Antoinette supports the Provost and Associate Provosts with day-to-day office operations. She manages the Associate Provosts' calendars, and attends to all logistical needs of the office.
	Melissa Bender Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President mbender@tulane.edu, (504) 314-2817 Melissa provides primary administrative support for the Provost, including scheduling and travel planning, the routing of all correspondence, and managing interaction with all direct reports. In addition, Melissa oversees the Undergraduate Activities Fund and coordinates the process of academic personnel review.
	Alysia Loshbaugh Budget Officer and Project Manager akravitz@tulane.edu, (504) 862-8209 Alysia manages the budget and financial activities for the Provost's office. She is the financial liaison to all Schools, the University Budget Office, and the University Accounting Office. Alysia assists and supports the Provost, Associate Provosts, and Assistant Provost with planning and executing special projects and events. She also maintains the office website, university catalog website, and supervises student workers.
